Our call for artists welcomes aspiring creatives to join the RemainReal community, and we ask that you submit your work for consideration.

We are a Denver art gallery run by working artists, and it's our belief that artist submissions should be free and accessible. Though we retain the right to jury each submission, there are no entry fees required to submit your work for consideration. If you want to be part of an inclusive, open-minded artistic community, hear the call to art and send us up to five different 2D or 3D artworks for consideration today!

Note; RemainReal Fine Art retains a 40% commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition. Accepted artists will be notified of acceptance on the last day of submissions.

At heart, we prioritize traditional 2D and 3D media.

Note: Every submission should include your name, how we can contact you, and which month and theme you are submitting your art for consideration.

Remember, no submission fees are required to submit your art!

Selection Process Transparency

RemainReal believes in complete transparency to support aspiring and well-honed artists in their creative journeys. Our curatorial team judges each piece of art on merit, not name, so newcomers have as much a chance of being featured in our exhibitions as established names.

We aim to provide a pathway for artists from every community and background to succeed. However, when evaluating all open call submissions, we must mention that our decisions (like all art) are subjective.

Some of our selection criteria include the following:

  • Purpose: We examine how well a piece serves RemainReal's primary goals and the purpose of our monthly exhibition.

  • Artistic Excellence: Imaginative quality, originality, unity of ideas, and technical proficiency form a large part of our selection criteria.

  • Significance: Our goal at RemainReal is to help artists make an impact. We represent diverse viewpoints, provide insights into social conditions, and hope to feature relevant art.

  • Compatibility: As a small gallery, our curatorial team must carefully consider the spatial capacity and the desire to feature as many artists as possible. That’s why we enforce our size requirements.

Accepted artists will be notified of acceptance on the last day of submissions.

Your artwork wasn’t selected this time around? Artists are permitted to respond to any future call for entry.
